Anyone else participating in Inktober? (one ink drawing a day for the month of October)

The first year I tried it, 2014, my theme was The Phantom of the Opera:

Last year it was about The GazettE and their newest album at the time, Dogma: (on tumblr)

This year I have decided my theme will be visual kei and for further inspiration I'll be using the Drawlloween 2016 list.
I'm looking forward to drawing interesting costumes and hopefully I can draw more detailed art
I'll be posting the drawings on my art tumblr blog and in November I'll put all the images together into one to upload it here (like I did with the Phantom of the Opera one )

It's been a while so I felt I should update my journal

First off I'll show some sketches I've posted on my art tumblr blog:
After drawing I did feel like drawing the other 3 members in the group and so I did do sketches of them but I have yet to start on drawing them digitally. I still plan on drawing them but they do have a new look so now I'll have to choose between their recent look or their old look
Traditional art:

I'm currently working on this painting and I'm almost done so It will probably be uploaded soon, unless I take my time when photographing it

Digital paintings: This one was a practice sketch
I work on and off on this one. At the moment I'm not working on it.

It's been long since my last Journal, at first I was aiming for at least one journal entry each month but then I just stopped in March

Since that time I've been drawing the GazettE a lot, well mainly Uruha

In May I was finally able to see my favorite band, The GazettE. So I've been very GazettE inspired since their World Tour started, and even though it has now ended I'm still inspired:


Seeing all my sketches together seems a bit obsessive but the last 4 sketches were done recently (Yesterday and Today)

Even still last month I had time to sketch Natsuki from the disbanded band, -OZ- which was my other favorite band. I had also been listening to them a lot.

But these are just sketches, I haven't worked on finishing any drawing I've been a bit busy and then I also distracted myself watching a Spanish show on Netflix, Gran Hotel. And I loved it so that distracted me for around a week. Now that I'm done with that, I hope to get back into drawing cool artwork. Unless I get distracted looking at GazettE fanart and searching for GazettE doujinshi, I want to read one but I haven't found a completed one so I kind of want to make one but that doesn't work out when I can't finish a story

Oh reading my last journal I mentioned I wanted to make a gif drawing but now I don't remember which character I wanted to use to make a gif ......

Anyways I was only able to upload 2 new drawings on February and 1 so far this month.
I might have gotten distracted drama watching again
At one point I was watching the Taiwanese drama Bromance which I thought was interesting but I still haven't finished. I felt it got a bit slow so I kind of just read episode recaps for the remaining episodes I might pick it back up again since I don't usually mind spoilers and am still able to watch something even if I already know what happens
Still what really got me distracted is Hana Yori Dango. It's one of my most favorite drama, at least the Japanese version is one of my favorites. Because of that I also decided to read the whole manga and watched the interesting scenes on the Taiwanese adaptation of the story Meteor Garden. So yeah not only did I upload this fanart of the Hana Yori Dango character, Domyouji but I also uploaded more sketches on my tumblr. Usually I just try to draw them realistically, in the style I'm used to but this time I started to study the way they are drawn in the manga, after all in the end they look pretty in the manga.
 So yes at the moment I'm very Hana Yori Dango obsessed

and since I mostly referenced pictures of Leo for my RYu drawings, I had to draw Leo I don't know if that will become my next finished drawing, we shall see....I might just start drawing a digital drawing of Rui

It seems that this year I began artfully strong with 5 drawings uploaded into my gallery which doesn't seem like a lot since that's 5 out of the 31 days in January But still it's more than what I was uploading (2 per month). It is not like I have a set schedule when it comes to working on my own drawing since I pretty much work by inspiration, it's whatever I'm inspired to finish or work on, which can be bad because then there can be an abundance in inspiration and ideas just not enough time, speed, or skills....yet.

I feel like I had a lot more to say during the middle of last month than I do now ......I've recently been watching a lot of kdramas Twenty Again, She Was Pretty, 18vs29 (old drama I decided to re-watch), Bride of the Century, My Unfortunate Boyfriend, Ho Goo's Love, and Cheese in the Trap (currently airing) which is most likely the reason why I have been distracted from drawing. At the same time they have also inspired me to continue drawing since a few of those dramas came from webtoons. Not that I'm thinking of making an epic comic but just generally inspired to continue drawing So now that I want to draw, I hope I don't start another drama until a couple of weeks pass

Future projects: I have a couple but I won't mention anything until uploaded since I want to work on them and not just mention it and then get distracted by something else but something I have been thinking of doing is making a gif drawing. Previously I have done:
 

So I guess I just want to continue being artistic
